Phil DeSantis is a Director and Co-Leader in the Revenue Cycle Transformation practice at Chartis focused on healthcare technology in the revenue cycle. His nearly fifteen years have primarily focused on implementation and optimization of revenue cycle technology and building strong processes between business and IT teams. Phil's experience includes leading revenue cycle technology teams in organizational transformation, designing and implementing revenue cycle technology in a start-up environment, and creating co-governance models between business and IT organizations. Phil has worked with academic medical organizations, community providers, and has a significant focus in retail health and consumer experience.
Prior to joining Chartis, Phil was a leader in the revenue cycle team for a large EHR/RCM software company, creating the pilot program for long-term success managing revenue cycle through effective utilization and integration of technology. Phil also co-founded Chi-Matic, a Best-in-KLAS winning revenue cycle consultancy known for its excellence in revenue cycle implementation, stabilization, and optimization.
Phil earned his Bachelor of Arts from Lewis University. Phil is an HFMA Certified Specialist in Physician Practice Management and holds a variety of certifications in Epic's revenue cycle applications.
